MY EXPERIENCE OF PRIVATE PROSECUTION IN THE CRIMINAL COURTS

Welcome

Any member of the public can bring a private prosecution in the criminal courts of England and Wales for any offence, unless the offence is one for which the consent of the Attorney General or the Director of Public Prosecutions  is required before a prosecution can take place.

This is my experience of bringing a private prosecution under

Section 82 Environmental Protection Act 1990

against Halil Ismail, owner of Jack the Clipper barbers.
